weekend.

My brother-in-law brought 20+ people from over two hours away for a church impact team to invade and outreach in our community. It was seriously from 11 am to 6pm. We had rappers, a band, testimonies and favor in the city. I had this plan to participate with the kids until lunch then go home and put the babies to bed-- But the kids were having so much fun, participating and playing with their 6 cousins that came too. How could I possibly go home. Naps still happened, but in strollers and in the van.

That night my Mother in law drove up to go out for burritos with her two boys and their families. The kids were great.

By the end of the evening, we had already started seeing fruit from the outreach as his phone started ringing with people who were invited to church.

Sunday came and church was in full swing and visitors showed up from outreach. My brother-in-law preached and souls were saved that morning. That is really neat.

After church, we all (18 of us) went to the Souplantation for lunch-- we talked, ate, and talked and ate a lot more. The kids thought the all you can eat ice cream bar rocked.

We were blessed before church to have the family over to visit, talk and play. Then we went back to church for our evening service to hear another powerful message from my husband's brother. And 2 more young women gave their lives to Jesus.

We finished it up with a huge crock pot of chili and brownies after service at church. That was fun. And messy. I feel like this past weekend I had a weeks worth of life packed in. It feels good to be part of God's work and to be used by Him.
