busy hands.

{ruby}

I have struggled at times having little feet under me when I'm trying to home school the older ones.

I've kinda let them have run of the house (which is not large by any means) while we do school work.

However, we've been blessed with a 3 year old named Pearl who was born a "Mommy". Continuously leading Lincoln and Ruby in games, playing make pretend and a real picker-upper, she is a future Proverbs 31 woman in the making.

One interesting phenomenon that's recently developed is the attraction all my little non-students have for flashcards. Anything from insects, the states, animals, dinosaurs.....you can usually find one of them sitting quietly looking at the pictures over and over again.

They may get tattered a bit faster from their little hands, but that is just fine with me.

I am really struggling with this right now.

Really, the only thing that is 'formal' is Language Arts. Oh, and Math...but we do that at the end of Nap Time, so it's not an issue.

Right now, Judah goes in his high chair, Ben and Wesley in their boosters at the end of the table, with paper and crayons. But it's not working.

I'll have to try busy hands. And, I wonder if the fact that they are all 3 Boys makes it harder...I don't know.

I go through this same thing. The cards do work. I have only had them look at a few. I think I will try them all.

I struggle this with my little one during school at times.

How precious that your little one is that PVB 31 little lady.

God Bless Pearl!

Isn't it special to see their God given gifts come out even at such a young age?

Have a wonderful week, Wendy!
