my life.

Just to answer the question---I'm not sure how far along I am since I was nursing when I got pregnant. Yikes. But I have a doctor's appointment next Friday and will hopefully find out a little more about baby # 9. Wow, did I say 9? Exciting. Scary. Overwhelming. Joyful.

The boys have started flag football practice. And even Charlie, my little 1 st grader, will be allowed to play on Ethan's 3rd and 4th grade team. What a mighty little boy. Sophia threw a little fit because she wants to do something other than ballet or swimming. So yesterday, Pearl, Sophia and I went 'dance clothes' shopping for leotards and tights and checked out a dance studio for some jazz and tap classes. I loved it. And so did the girls. The dance studio will let the girls try out the different classes they offer to find out what the girls are interested in. Last night Sophia and me both had dreams about dance class. Ha!

Back to school business around here: Hubby is finishing our classroom (drywall & paint). We plan on hanging all my finds and knick knacks on Saturday or Sunday. I'm super excited. School should be starting sometime next week in our Little Yellow Schoolhouse. Ugh! Why can't we all be dumb and never go to school. Did I just say that?

With a growing children's church, we've been challenged by our limited space. This requires the removal and addition of walls, a new door and various other modifications-- in other words: more projects for my hubby. But it's a good problem. We have some really great new families and some extremely great old ones too. We are gearing up for our second kids craft booth outreach this summer at a local festival. It ends up being a lot of preparation, but when it's all over, it's a really good thing for our church.

This week I am going to be posting pictures of a week long vacation my family took with my Mom, and brother and family last week. It was absolutely WONDERFUL!

I think you are an amazing woman! You are raising your children with such grace and patience, and how blessed you are that God has entrusted you with another little precious life. :)

I am a mother of 4 children, ages 10, 7, 5, and 3. I will never be able to have any more since I had a tubal ligation but I love large families. (I think mine's pretty big LOL....) I admire anyone who can raise so many children and keep their hearts and minds focuses on the Lord.

Congratulations on baby #9!
