Monday Night.

Our first swim meet ever was a success. I loved being poolside yelling "go, go" to kids whose heads are underwater most of the time. Tomorrow, at the boy's next practice, they'll be handing out the ribbons. Parker placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in his races; Ethan didn't do quite as well, but he just started training a few days before the meet. I know he'll do better as the season progresses.

I put a call into the doctor today about the Picato skin gel. I think I may need to wait on starting my treatment to make 100% sure that I'm not pregnant. I am so torn up about having a painful face that looks like a blow torch has been taken to it for 2 weeks.

We are starting our 3rd week of school. I think my biggest challenge of the year so far is keeping the four youngest (4 years old and under) busy. I am really thankful that Jasper loves being outdoors and Pearl is their adventure guide when she isn't doing her kindergarten lessons. But it still is making me think really hard about some new ideas.

My husband comes home everyday during his prep period and lunch. We absolutely love it and he enjoys hanging out with us for a little bit during the day. He really is the best husband. Seriously. He loves me so much and I really am blessed to have such a wonderful husband that's my bestest friend.

Pray for him-- he is having hernia surgery on Oct. 19th and preaching a youth rally this coming weekend out of town. I'll be holding down the fort. Maybe you should pray for me too. Ha!

Well..it's another week with lots to do. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey, my husband just had hernia surgery last week! I was expecting the recovery to be much worse but it really hasn't been too bad.

I do not recommend following doctor's orders on that cream...you must find a naturopath...or some type of alternative doctor..his advice is both damaging to your baby (a baby needs to be breast fed a minimum of 18 months to have a good digestive system...and...the longer you can breast feed...the better)please look for an alternative...I am sure the face cream is not good for you.
