A Pioneer Family.

There are so many things my kids get to participate in and experience because we are pioneering a baby church.

How about putting together a big event like a House of Horror?

There are a lot of things people don't realize that go into doing something like that. Sometimes individuals just show up and think the church and all its facets just happened/appeared out of thin air.

They aren't aware of the years of investment ( Nine!) that went into creating and molding the ministries in the church. And that's ok. I like what we do.

I love that the kids are pioneering with us. Not behind us.

Sometimes they WANT to go to church when secretly I just want to put on my pjs and call it a night.

There are people in our church that we consider TRUE family. I would even leave my kids with them to go on a marriage retreat. Oh ya... I did in the beginning of October. It was nice, but I missed my kids. The boys were so spoiled that I think they enjoyed us being away a little too much. Ha! Thankfully it's only once a year and the other marriage retreat is hosted at our church here.

I'm not really sure what this post is about. I guess it's been so long writing that I just opened the flood gates.

Hopefully my posts will once again be more coherent and consistent.

Tonight is the first night of our outreach and we have SO much to do today before any of it can happen...

That's exciting. I'll be praying that everything goes well with the outreach and that it's a huge success!
