the most wonderful time of the year.

My internet has been out for some days. First the wireless router wasn't working, then we thought it was the modem, then the computer-- after being on the phone for a few hours with tech support, we discovered it was a damaged line outside. Whew! We almost bought a new computer. I won't go into any further details.

Nevertheless we had a really wonderful Christmas.

We started celebrations leading up to Christmas day with something fun almost every night either personally or with the church.

I can't tell you how many goodies we were blessed with. We loved it!

On Thursday night, the Five Bigs went with Grammy to the theater to see a church adapted version of Scrooge.

On Friday night, the oldest 4, Daddy and the neighbor girl went with the church on outreach on Candy Cane Lane passing out church flyers and candy canes.

All day Saturday, we were at my Mom's for a family party eating tamales and way too many sweets.

Then, for Sunday morning service, Parker was Joseph in a Christmas skit called  "Too Busy" and all the bigs participated in a black light puppet show for our Christmas service {it was amazing}, while the littles sang in front of the church looking really cute. SO glad I videoed everything this year.

Hubby will be home for two weeks for his break and I'm so glad, I'm nearly beside myself... and I think I'm ready to get back into the blogging thing!

It's so good to see you back, even if it's just here and there, Wendy! Your family Christmas card is PRECIOUS. Thanks for popping in again...you inspire and encourage us! God bless you and all of yours, especially that special bun-in-the-oven.
