I am a new and excited homeschooling Mommy to my 3rd grader and Kindergartner. That's not even the hard part--It's keeping the 4 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 1/2 yr old and 6 month old busy while I teach. Whew! It makes me tired writing it. I wanted to Show & Tell about it because a couple of days ago we filed our affidavit and officially became a school called "THE LITTLE YELLOW SCHOOLHOUSE". A perfect name for us since we live in a small yellow cottage near the beach.
This is the first book I read on Homeschooling that ignited this new adventure for me.

You have some beatiful children they are such a blessing from God.. I too am a homeschool mother and I love it and I much say I would not want to be anywhere else but with my children teaching them what they need to know... Great show and tell have a great weekend.
I love your Little Yellow Schoolhouse. That name is perfect if you live in a yellow cottage.
I'm sure your children will love being homeschooled. There's so much to learn and children love learning when it is fun.
Enjoyed your show and tell this week.
Blessings,
Mary
How neat that you are homeschooling with so many little ones in the house. I have a friend Vondalee who has done it for many years if you have any questions. Her blog is called 'On the Dry Side'. : )
Much love and happiness.
What a fun show and tell. Godd Job mama. They look happy!
You have a beautiful family. I really enjoyed your blog. From another HS mom, it sounds like you're doing a wondeful job!
Thank you for sharing, interesting to see as we don't homeschool much at all in the UK.

This is precious! No uniforms, my (now 18 yo) son would love this part of homeschooling, I can't keep clothes or shoes on him for nothing!!! Bless you as you bless them!
What a wonderful mother you are Wendy. I am loving the Yellow Schoolhouse.
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
Homeschooling is different here in Bama, so I don't need a name, but our farm is called Kid Creek Farm, so I guess we'd be Kid Creek Christian :)
And seriously, Kid Creek is the name of the creek that runs through our property---we didn't come up with it! But isn't it so fitting for a family of 6??
I loved seeing your home school! :D
In fact, this is exactly the kind of post I'm hoping for more of when I begin hosting the Home school Open House once a month! I hope you can participate! :)
(Last year, I had a Kindergartner and a 3rd grader, too!)
Blessings,
~Tammy
Wow, home schooling - that must take a lot of patience, but be so rewarding!
Love the Little Yellow School House and your tea cup filled with crayons. The gardener's prayer... I have one of those and I love it ;)
Happy Friday!

I wish I was home schooled. :) This looks better than school!
You are off on a wonderful adventure with your children. I did it many years ago and have been so blessed over the years. I got a chance to help homeschool some of my grandchildren, too. I wish you many happy years. It's worth it all.

Hello fellow homeschooler! Every day is an adventure but what a blessing it is to be able to teach our children at home.
Oh, I remember your blogs, it's so pretty. The name of your school is cute. I can relate to those days when one doesn't get the victory!
What a wonderful way to teach the kids. You are doing a great job.
Have a blessed week.

I have so much respect for parent's that teach their kids at home. Great name to.
I so admire parents who choose homeschooling. I wish I had known that this was an option when my children were little. I would have done it in a heartbeat...
And the name of your school is perfect!
Warm Regards,
Susie
