the way we did it.

More on my thrift store finds...

I have never done this before, but on our last adventure to the thrift store with my husband and 7 kids in tow, I had a list.

All the items that I hoped to find for next to nothing in a perfect world:

2 Coats; several pairs of pants for Parker, Sophia and Ruby, 2 church dress shirts & and pants for Parker since he's in worship now; winter tops for Ruby, rain boots for Ethan and Pearl, and tablecloths.....

It was great and gave my husband a peace of mind and an awareness as to what he was getting himself into before we walked in the door. It is very difficult to go shopping with the family, find some items, then have to explain to my husband who needs what, why and how while you have the clothes in your hand.

Instead, we had a list.

Yes, the things I didn't find are still on my list now posted on the refrigerator for next time.
