timing.

I'm really happy to have Jasper at this exact time.
I thought it would be really hard with my husband gone at work and me and my 8.
But with Thanksgiving break a little over a week after Jasper's birth and Christmas break right around the corner, it's perfect timing. My husband is home with us which is one of our favorite things about him being a teacher. I love these cold Fall days when my children want to declare it pajama day (which incidentally, is about the same way I feel). Why not take a shower, get ready for the day and put on some really comfy pajamas and not open the mini blinds and just enjoy kids, couches and blankets? Sounds nice.
Unfortunately, we don't have a fire place, but we just open up a window and let the smell of the neighbors burning fireplace filter into our house.
This is a good season even though I typically enjoy Spring days much more. I am excited and can't wait for the holidays. This week I plan on taking our Christmas picture now that our new family member is here. I have so much to be thankful for.

He is so sweet! Yes, I agree you have so MUCH to be thankful for. What a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing it with us. I always wanted a large family, like I grew up in, but we were not that blessed. We have one son here and a daughter in heaven. We are so thankful that are son at 25 is follower of Christ. We raise him in church and tried to lead by example like so many parents but when they except Christ and live for HIM when their grown is the greatest joy. Happy Thanksgiving!
